Chaos Beach
At WGVA, we don’t think volleyball ends when school and club season are over.
Volleyball players become well-rounded when they play outdoor volleyball whether that be on sand or grass. While it is an adjustment, players historically improve on reading the ball, court coverage, agility, and ball placement when they play outdoor volleyball. What are you waiting for? Come soak up the sun and play some sand and grass with us!
What to Expect
One of the best things about sand and grass volleyball is how laid back it is. Parents expect it to be like club where it is very structured, but it’s not like that at all. Every tournament is different, but players can expect to:
Pick a different partner every tournament or keep a consistent one throughout the summer.
Ref your own matches without any officials.
Parents can expect:
A chill day on the sand or grass under a tent with a cold beverage in their hand and Kenny Chesney on the radio… yes - it’s that awesome!
Chaos Beach will begin Tuesday June 4 and run until July 27.
Fee: $400 (tournament fees not included): This can be paid in full or in 2 installments. Athletes will receive 2 Chaos Volleyball Shirts and 7 Week of Training.
Atheletes will have the opportunity to complete in 4 tournaments. 2 hosted by WGVA and 2 at Rally Volleyball. All tournaments optional to be flexible for your summer schedule.
Practices will be twice a week, Tuesday and Thursdays from 9am-11am.
